I didn't know that optical fibres were 'tuned' to a given range of wavelengths.. are they?
I thought they were, but it might be the termination.
I guess if they aren't then those with ISDN2+ installs might be lucky; the existing fibre could be re-purposed!
ISDN2 (Basic Rate) and ISDN30 (Primary Rate) are delivered over copper connections.
