Reckon you are wrong. Underground chambers that are flooded should not present a problem as underground plant is waterproof and is designed to be underwater. Cabinets have waterproof floors and duct seals. The problem will come when the water level is a foot over the cabinet door level!

That's just the control system in the cabinet, the pump is usually in a chamber underground.
