Fig
The BDUK sites, especially for small exchanges with few cabs, often go from Under evaluation to coming soon to live quickly. This is very apparent early in the contracts as they seem to be waiting to start work as soon as the planning is done, once they get into their stride the planning is done some months ahead so timescales elongate.
The first ones in North Wales went live only weeks after the contract was announced and this has been seen elsewhere as well.
Check your telephone number on the Wholesale checker to see if you have an indication as to your cab and possible speed.
You can then find the cab and see when it is provided, then check regularly for when it goes live, you can beat everybody else to order if you are lucky.

Thanks for the info. Yes, I've been checking regularly, but nothing shows up on the number, but the postcode checker shows Fibre Multicast being available as from 31-Dec-13 which I know is just a placeholder so nothing of use, although maybe a hint that things are afoot
The rumour was though that the fibre would be provisioned from an exchange which was a couple of miles away serving a larger area, however maybe not. I'll keep checking and see what happens

I suspect the headend/handover point is in Stockton Heath
Stockton Heath? This is a map of the local area with some cabs Warrington Cabs, the dividing line between one exchange and the other is roughly the line that Burtonwood Road follows. I've been told that the fibre was being pushed over the boundary to the cabs on this housing development, but as yet I have no solid information, hence trying to find some

AFAIK, there is no handover point in Warrington exchange , itself being fed off Stockton Heath. Of course the fibre could still pass through Warrington on the way to westwood, or it may go direct.

A further 18 Exchnages announced this week, too late no doubt to get people connected for Christmas but a nice present to wait for the New Year.
BARNARD CASTLE, BILLINGSHURST, BISHOPS LYDEARD, BLAINA, BLAIRGOWRIE, ELVINGTON, EXMINSTER, GAERWEN, Hawkinge, HENLADE, HIRWAUN, INVERURIE, LESMAHAGOW, NORTH CURRY, PLYMSTOCK, PUTTENHAM, UPPER WARLINGHAM, WEST HESLERTON.
Now should be 1880 exchnages with some cabs enabled, however one has disappeared from the list (Copgrove) so only 1879 show!
This is an increase of 571 exchanges since Christmas 2012.
The rate of exchanges enabled will have to treble next year to reach all exchanges by the end of 2015 ( assuming 5500 exchanges in total as from Samknows). it needs to average about 33 a week.
