FTTPoD doesn't come from the cabinet but from the fibre node that serves the cabinet. My cabinet is a kilometre from its fibre node.

I think you're mistaking him for someone who cares and/or is aware of that.

EDIT: To be fair to him it's her own fault for continuing to entertain him for so long and on so many occasions. She should have delegated it fully ages ago.

I would say 3 - 6 months

In my observations over the years the checker can show an estimate at anytime, could be months before the cabinet is installed or equally could be months after. When it does start to show an estimate it may also didisappear for a while only to come back again later.

Mine was finished 8 weeks ago.

I do have her telephone number (CEO openreach office directly number to her) but I haven't phoned her yet, only email her.
