Re: Huawei fttc modem firmware

[re: StephenTodd] [link to this post]

I had the hacked firmware in, and the btagent on; so I just realized that I lost the web interface (and thus the way to upgrade the modem firmware myself, I supose)
Does anyone knows how to restore that web interface?

BTW I seems to have gained about 8Mb/s down with the new firmware, however I do have wierd dropouts on my VPN that makes remote screen sharing mostly unusable. I've seen reports that the 'new' firmware have a problem with dropped/blacklisted UDP, would that be related?

The new firmware did increase my line profile slightly.

With old firmware it was at 56477

With new firmware I get 62259

Initially it only went up very slightly but then after a few days it went up a bit more.

Historically my profile has been floating around:
56985
56791

Freeserve Dial-Up --> BTopenworld --> <n>ildram -->Talk Talk LLU --> ZeN
ASUS RT-AC66U
