My install date is in 2 weeks time. Hopefully everything goes to plan this time.

Only If the Engineer or contractor did turn up on your day of your installation date. It's rather annoying to push back a further two weeks again.

Good luck mate.

I got email from Openreach saying they are in contact with the commissioning teams as the software updates complete between Openreach and the service providers had major issues problem that caused ISP cannot order my FTTC at present. They will let me know once it fixed. (unbelieved by BT)

Use the wholesale checker.

It say available now

BT BROADBAND AVAILABILITY CHECKER
Telephone Number *********** on Exchange CUCKOO OAK is served by Cabinet 8

Featured Products

Downstream Line Rate(Mbps)

Upstream Line Rate(Mbps)

Downstream Range(Mbps)

Availability Date
High Low High Low
FTTC Range A (Clean) 80 78.1 20 20 -- Available
FTTC Range B (Impacted) 80 76.2 20 19 -- Available

WBC ADSL 2+ Up to 5.5 -- 3 to 8 Available
WBC ADSL 2+ Annex M Up to 5.5 Up to 1 3 to 8 Available
ADSL Max Up to 4 -- 3 to 7 Available
WBC Fixed Rate 2 -- -- Available
Fixed Rate 2 -- -- Available
Other Offerings
Fibre Multicast -- -- -- Available
Copper Multicast -- -- -- Available

Try harder; you copy/pasted someone else's details with your cabinet and exchange at the top. The ADSL speeds close to Cuckoo Oak PCP 8 are much higher than that.

Cuckoo-Oak-8

Noteworthy you took a screenshot from the BT Infinity checker, but a text copy/paste here, along with a summary of the email you 'received' in double quick time from Openreach rather than your usual copy/paste.

A chat with an Openreach employee informs that your cabinet, Cuckoo Oak 8, is currently under commissioning process and remains forecast to go live in February. It has at no point been marked RFS.

A couple of issues here.

1) The commissioning team are nothing to do with the availability database beyond ticking the box to say the cabinet is ready. The only software updating they would do is the software for the cabinets.
2) Plusnet and BT Retail use the same information. They both query the BT Wholesale database via a well known API so the suggestion that Openreach have had major issues with Plusnet but BT Retail have been fine and the Wholesale checker claims ready for service while Plusnet don't is absurd. BT Wholesale get the RFS information from Openreach and pass it on to their customers, 2 of which are Plusnet and BT Retail.

Anyway, back to my break. \o.

You are just confirming your poor comprehension of the English language. Where did I say I disbelieved the speed claimed in your signature?
