The Belkin will be perfectly OK to use with an Openreach fibre modem, the AC1200 is as Andrew says just a router with an Ethernet WAN port. The Power-modem thing had us puzzled for a while and the Belkin website is not very clear. It claims the AC1200 has a Built-in ADSL 2+ modem and a Built-in power supply unit when the diagram clearly shows them as separate items. Built-in must mean supplied in the box in Belkin world! Not too keen on Belkin stuff myself, but it does seem to have a good spec with AC wireless and a gigabit WAN port. Should work well on an FTTC service.
