I think you are getting confused by the BT website, where ADSLx and FTTC are mixed up in a very messy way.

(By the way, MBps or Mbps. 1MBps = 8Mbps).
If your FTTC estimate is 80Mbps, what product are you on about that offers 17Mbps, assuming that's what you mean? Your estimate table shows no ADSL2+ (nor ADSL2 which is a different thing again). It just shows FTTC or ADSL Max.
You are already on the maximum speed for ADSL Max. You cannot get the advertised 17Mbps ADSL2+ product, which is not FTTC. On FTTC you have Infinity 1 (up to 38Mbps) or Infinity 2 (up to 76Mbps) available. Or of course the equivalent from a hundred or so other ISPs.
