Yep, that's the one. Probably among a number of the buildings marked as Exchange Only within Letterston.
Can't get 21CN yet, so 8mbps is the fastest you could get in theory. And BT/TalkTalk are the only ones with equipment in the exchange right now.

TalkTalk

Then you should be able to get >8Mbps....they probably don't have their equipment in Letterston.

I'm pretty sure there is no LLU in Letterston as a friend lives there and has inquired before.

We had issues with our connection a few months back or so, cutting us off more than not. It was just a pain in the backside going through EE trying to get the problem solved. Took them way too long to identify that the fault was at the DSLAM, as well as having to talk to someone in India to even get through the process.

At least the Openreach engineer who came round to examine the situation told us that TalkTalk did. If it's not the case, then it's probably a mistake.

Yep, that's the one.

If anyone ever goes out that way, find an excuse to stop at Somethings Cooking, they really are the best, and Lord knows I've tried enough others !

Update on Letterston Works

[re: deleted] [link to this post]

So far so good, work in the exchange area looks like it is gaining pace. Cabinet 4 DSLAM has been stood, although no telling when this will be enabled, since there's no noise from it yet.

Roadwork plans are showing up for July near the cab locations for 1 and 5, there's a chance they're passing on their initial FTTP plans, although I can't be sure since it doesn't mention DSLAM or NGA cabinet yet.

For #1:
Build 1 concrete chamber 1690mm x 710mm x 1565mm deep in Footway,Install 3m of 2 poly ducts in Footway,Install 3m of 2 poly ducts in Verge,Install 7m of 2 poly ducts in Carriageway.

But if they were to go for FTTC now on cab 5, then Castlemorris and a few other spots aren't likely to get superfast speeds, because they are too far away from that cabinet. Similar issue with cab 1, only a portion of the area might be able to get superfast speeds at all. The Welsh Gov states they intend to get superfast to as many properties as possible even after Superfast Cymru, so hopefully those white postcodes won't be overlooked.
