I read that as a discussion on SLU, not on vectoring between cabinets which is an already delivered and proven technology.

EDIT: Just FYI Warwicknet are one of the few that do sub-loop unbundle.


The query from the Warwicknet guy was obviously focussed on the question WRT SLU cabinets, as I guess that very much interests them.

Part of the answer was very much couched in terms of SLU, seemingly precluding the possibility of multi-operator and/or multi-vendor co-operation.

However, another part of the answer was phrased in a way that suggests it applied just as much to single-vendor, single-operator, multi-DSLAM sites too. Not that things were impossible - but that it wasn't any kind of priority. I could be wrong though, and will have to go listen again.
