I think you are the only person on the entire net other than myself who believes DLM also adjusts power levels probably as a method of crosstalk management.

This is also my theory why people are seeing speed boosts from fast path to g.inp because DLM is raising the power confident g.inp can deal with crosstalk line errors.

Hi

Finally got stats took me ages, lmao do these give a clearer picture of my line,noticed that mtu was wrongly set for talktalk changed it to talktalk recommenced and my speed shot back to 68 down from 58 down. Thank you all who contributed to this post..

I never liked the dreaded ugly DLM by BT Openreach. BT Wholesale can reset DLM for ADSL/ADSL2+. But BT Openreach will not reset DLM until a proof of fault on the line.

Hi adslmax

Yep I have had it now for quite a while 4 months solid connection 75 down 19 up then 1 DC and DLM acted, still there 5 months later (guesstimates), but I really do not like to moan as I am lucky to get the speeds I do 68 Down 19 up, in my opinion DLM acts to quickly and takes to long to recover.
