Test with warnings
Can someone please expand on likely reasons why I keep getting these test warning?
I have never seen such LOW / frequent needle swings on the TBB speed tester in my previous life as an Infinity 1 customer. Note: this still happens with a 2 metre ethernet cable straight into the master socket (with / without the new faceplate I mention below) using a 1Gbps ethernet connection
- My two lines on the graph have always been very close.
- I haven't changed my internal wiring *
- I believe my provider move has taken me from BT Retail to BT Wholesale which I am told by the OR engineer meant a "Lift and Shift" to another card slot in the cabinet
- I believe the new slot/line either has a fault or is impacted in some way
- I'm told by the new ISP that the line is "Clean" but at the slower end of the scale. [my observation is it's [b]slower than the BT Infinity1 I had]
Can I apply for a
completely new phone number and get on another Cabinet which is nearer [I'm 750metres from my cabinet and there is a nearer one now] especially as the phone line is supposed to be taken over by the new ISP on the 21st March.? [I know this is a dumb question, but as a dummy if you don't ask...]
Apart from one/two test using the test socket (other test socket test were good but I actually had 2 that exceeded what I had ever seen before by +6Mbps)
* I got a new VDSL2 + Phone Faceplate today from Maplins and i still can't reach let alone exceed the speeds I was getting on Infinity 1 but on 80/20 up to max of 64Mbps - I was using the VSDL2 port NOT the Test Socket
If this is getting boring me bleating on about this stuff just let me know and I'll go away

PS when I test the link to the TBB test result it doesn't show the warning I received sadly
