I wonder if the ASA might have something to say about the speeds?

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk. Domains, site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - AAISP Home::1 80/20. Sync 71288/12440Kbps @ 600m. BQMs - IPv4 & IPv6

Well I just checked idnet and they don't have a Unlimited option for the 330 package.
Zen only supplies the 330 package for business connections, not too sure if a normal home user would be allowed to get that or not.

The main issue is the actual price, they are at least triple the price I am paying at the moment.

But still worth looking into though.

They probably won't due to where BT are stating on their product page for FTTP when you can find it that is, they state up to that speed, so in their eyes they are not lying.

In a way its all down to what you pay and BT's prices are very low compared to all other providers, so cramming as many connections together is how BT can lower the price I guess.

Don't get me wrong, its not an issue, it has never stopped us being able to do what we need to do.

The OP does not (or at least in 2012 did not) have FTTP.

I thought we was still talking about the OP's Son.

One moment we was talking about FTTP for their son and then I saw speedtest results and assumed it was for the Son, I should really pay attention when reading and responding to posts.

Ta.

Yeah, I decided on ditching the copper line due to it was that bad when it rained the broadband and phone would just die.

And it would be an intermittent fault in which BT would see the issue (so no charge for the call out) and when the engineer would arrive the wires would of dried up and start working again.

So when fibre was here I moved everything over to it.
