Well I can imagine that at the Exchange I'm on Lochgoilhead (WSLOD) We could well be the only property getting FTTPoD.

There's a couple of small businesses in the village who might get it, but we're likely the only ones for now.

Not too sure where the head end for all this is, possibly Arrochar...

If the OP's head end exchange has only recently started accepting orders for FTTP (native or On Demand) then it could simply be that the OP is the first customer to order any kind of FTTP service at the exchange which might explain the delay.

In the case of my FTTPoD install, my head end exchange (Inverness Macdhui), had already been accepting native FTTP orders for a few years so I guess a spare port on a FTTP card was already available for my install. My install took just over 3 months.
