Nice speeds but I wonder why your ping is so high - are you testing with a wired connection? I usually get 1-6ms ping on FTTC with FastPath up and down:

upload is still in the 30 Mbps region
download notice that the chart is spiky so the burst may be one of those spikes.

The chart is not what I'd call a healthy result, with single thread not behaving nicely, which might also be behind the higher TCP latency figures.

It may be that they are on 330/30 product but the PON is XGPON with another 500 or 1000 Mbps user in the area and as we've seen with the upload capping on the 76/19 product FTTP caps do sometimes spike beyond the purchased limit (hence the 20-21 Mbps upload you see on Infinity 2 FTTP customers when its working well).

I was only jesting, I know the 400 Mbps figure was just a blip on the TBB speedtest.

BtW Mr S, have you seen any TBB speedtests which clearly indicate that people have taken out the top end Openbreach based 0.5 & 1 Gbps FTTP services? I believe BT Wholesale aren't selling anything above 330/30 on consumer grade FTTP but happy to be proved wrong if TBB speedtests suggest otherwise.

Remember Openreach can offer services but BT Wholesale is under no obligation to use them...

Neighbour is on Infinity 1 and there are only a dozen or so other properties between us and the exchange a few miles a way.

I'll re test once I'v turned off anything else accessing the net to get a purer result.
