Aside: you might be interested in Andrews & Arnold L2TP service, where you get static IPv4 and IPv6 addresses from aaisp, but access them via a different ISP's connection. £10 per month.

I don't know however whether it supports any sort of multipath to allow you to aggregate your lines together - but it would be worth asking.

Thanks for the suggestion. Ive been fone with a manual switch between connections up until now. Ill enquire about the service though just out of curiosity!

Congrats smile

I bet it seemed like you would never get there, I know our 5 year battle with BT seemed like that some times.

Yeah, when we got ours I did loads of tests, I even tried watching several different 4K live streams at the same time and I still had loads of bandwidth left.

Where as before we had issues watching SD Streams on our ADSL connection.

Posting a follow up note for those that get a FTTC Cabinet installed. After 18 months, I'm now using Andrews & Arnold and my line is still syncing at the maximum 80/20 Mbps. The maximum theoretical speeds on my line according to my TPLink VDSL modem are 28245/83789. Attenuation/SNR Margin downstream 8/3.6 and upstream 14.8/11.1. So there has been some drop off from when I was connected on day one with no crosstalk, but only around 4-3Mbps on the downstream.

A&A are the best ISP out there, connecting my via TT backhaul from my exchange. I get solid over 70Mbps/19Mbps all hours of the day and the 2TB allowing is way more than I can use in a month streaming HD/4K at all hours.

I am glad you are enjoying your connection smile

We have only been with BT for our fibre connection so I cannot compare with other ISP's, but whenever we have had any issues BT have either resolved the issue while on the phone with them or its been resolved over night, so due to that I cannot fault BT for the service we are getting from them.

As for speeds, we are still getting our full speeds 24/7 when I have done the odd test now and then, but our SamKnows White Box does tests throughout the day and that shows the full speed with a ± 10Mbps deviation if that.
