Yes, to make it clear, as I said, I thought they were lucky not to get caught - but I completely understand why it was written. I'm the sort of person who would do something similar.
My dad who was a linesman in the 70s once picked up the phone in a call box which had been reported faulty, and put it right up to ihs face when he saw that there was faeces of some sort in the big old-fashioned "scoop" of a mouthpiece.
I assume there might be some sort of protocol when a site it unsuitable for working at? I mean, common sense and judgement comes first, but if there's "all of the above", especially used needles at a site, then surely there's some kind of "Ultimate cleaners" you can call, and they'll film their escapades to make a Channel 5 series about it?
