I�m getting well and truly fed up with BT/OR.
The previous Hub issue linkresurfaced a week or so later and then again a week after that. So far, we�re on our fourth Hub6.
After a power cut, the Hubs just seem to pack up and have a mind of their own. Despite turning off the OR wall modem for a few minutes then back on, the Hubs refuse to connect, even after being turned off or factory re-set. They either go solid orange or solid blue but with no internet connection in either case and the hub is inaccessible via 192.168.1.254 The latest light display is flashing purple before going back to orange.
The wall modem lights are on for power, PON and Port 1.
This morning, after a fuse tripped, Ive gone through the whole shenanigans again and even a brand new Hub fresh out of the wrapper would not connect, leading me to think that the problem is with the wall modem.
An engineer visit is booked but I suspect I�ll get a call about a data integrity error a day before and no engineer will visit.
So, given the temperamental nature of the BT Hub 6, are there any suggestions for a replacement for Infinity 4? I know the Hubs don�t appear to be the issue but not being able to access them doesn�t help either.
