Weird how all of this has suddenly changed?

Innit just.

Max has a proven track record on this very forum of imaginary products, orders and services.

I find it best to ignore Maxs Walter Mitty-esque posts.

I post to suggest others do likewise.

To the OP - you're doing better than me! I'm at 295m and I'm less than thrilled. I get 100mb down, around 11mb up in the real world with EE. My engineer was fairly surprised it worked at all. Judging by my BQM graph, it looks like I get regular shifts in IP (about once a fortnight), presumably caused by modem reboots. I'd get on the phone to EE but they won't do any troubleshooting without having their router plugged in and I can't even begin to deal with that. Fortunately, we're moving in the new year to a house with FTTP (not the only reason!) so I won't have to deal with this garbage. I'm firmly of the opinion G.fast is very much lipstick on a pig, which seems to be bourne out by the uptake.

I completely agree, Max's ramblings are best ignored.

Just a little curious...
Why do so many people use Americanisms, here in the UK?
Cookies/muffins (when they mean fairy cakes)snuck/gotten and "meter"!
Cheers, Les.

I think they see them on TV/internet and genuinely dont know the UK equivalent, its very annoying. Weve lost the battle with some of those. Fairy cakes has long gone sadly.
