I ordered FTTP from BT on 30th December with a live date of 17th January, the duct was rodded to check for blockages on 31st December. A blockage was found and reported with an ETA of 7-10 days for this to be cleared.
That blockage was cleared on 14th January and duct has had the blue rope to pull the fibre through since then in a process that took 20 minutes as the blockage just needed a big shove with a rod.
The problem now, nearly 2 weeks after duct clearing and with no activity is that according to BT's last update the contractors haven't confirmed that the work is complete to Openreach, possibly as they didn't need to dig, so no one is doing anything and no one will take my word for the duct baing roped even though I can see it!
Is there any way to gently prod them to send someone check or pull the fibre? My Virgin service ends before the new live date and I'm getting twitchy!
