Living close to a street cab around 80 yards all provider checks suggested i should have no trouble reaching the top figure of the up to 76mb rate.
It went live yesterday and the figure says 66mb down and 19999 up. Can this change as i believe there is a sort of testing period.

Could be that possible gas pipe laying issue which you mentioned in another thread...

Sky used to provide the Q hub (ER110 or ER115) for lines that connect faster than 40/10. If Sky won't provide you with one there are plenty on Bay of E for less than £20. Both have the benefit of being dual band. Altrnatively, sign up for the "Broadband Boost" package for an extra £5 a month and they will send you the latest SR203 hub.

wouldn't the max upload be the key here that something may be wrong ?

How so? 66/20 is a perfectly normal sync speed.

With those attenuation figures I would say your line is about 340 meters long and you're connecting about right now. Leave the connection on and the DLM will start to lower your SNR and you will get max sync in about a week or two.

Crosstalk will be pulling your line down like many other FTTC lines now.

Connection Speed 11929383 kbps 12955 kbps
Line Attenuation D1(44.4 dB) , D2(0.0 dB) , D3(0.0 dB) U0(0.0 dB) , U1(0.0 dB) , U2(0.0 dB)
Noise Margin 3.1 dB 3.1 dB
Sky Q Hub Sky G.fast 360 meters

I had a word this morning with a BT lad working on another cabinet, and he said the route to your house can sometimes take a little detour which can add a longer line from the cab to the house.Between me and the cabinet is a small cul de sac so maybe it takes a diversion.

But i am more than happy with 76mb.

@lockyatlrg I don't think his line isn't 340m more likely less than 220m to 210m than mine!

Because if his line 340m away like u say then my G.fast will be no chance! As my G.fast are 229/50 with my VDSL2 line length at 250m but openreach say my G.fast line length is 280m away.

Your signature say G.fast 360m are wrong because otherwise G.fast won't be on your BTw checker!
