Saw some with the light test done, i.e. all fibre in place and lit from exchange but took 4 weeks to appear as ready to order.

Some areas they wait for a wider area to be available before releasing it to order, and others seem to be more piecemeal

okay thanks. hopefully wont be too long for me either, but then again everytime ive asked openreach online they have said no plans to upgrade my street.
Yet i spoke to the engineer doing it and he said should be ready to order in a few weeks, this was back in January. Since then they've probably hit a blocked duct and had to get that installed.
so fingers crossed it wont be too much longer!

A PON can be commissioned within around 48 hours from submission internally to showing availability externally as long as no issues identified during commissioning stages.
