I note that it says my "VDSL Downstream rate High" is 13.1mb - is this the figure they are using?

I also note (and agree with....) the "Max observed speed" of 6.2mb (on a good day - normally about 5mb...).

Just done a DSL Checker check on couple of properties around my way that I know for a fact would get less than 5Mbps (but no longer have a broadband connection) and surprise surprise their predicted speed has been increased to over 10Mbps in the last week or so, so they are out of scope. The ones that do have a 5Mbps broadband connection are unaffected and show on the USO webpage as eligible for an upgrade.

As the high figure is what Ofcom use, suspect that is what BT is using too based on the observations made.

Our systems should usually give a figure closer to the low end figure
