Well I would make a complaint stating that they are quoting you a price higher than the price advertised, BT SHOULD quote you an up to the price listed on their site, the prices listed on the site stats nothing about new customer prices, so they ARE the actual prices you should be quoted at MAX.

If they still quoting higher than the price listed then I would ask to speak to their manager.

In reply to a post by CJT:
If you look on the BT Forums there are several customers who have got good deals on FTTP 900. Depends who you get when you ring up. Worth ringing again maybe over the weekend.

Agreed, every time I have phone BT when upgrading our broadband package or renewing it I have always got a good deal at that time.

So yes, it all boils down to who you get , I am always polite and to the point, and both of us are happy with the outcome of the phone call.

I have never used their online ordering system due to those often can and do go wrong.

We got a very good price quoted over the phone, that good I didn't even haggle with them, sure there has been one or 2 people that got it slightly cheaper, but BT and myself was happy on the price quoted so I happy with the outcome.
