So did the guys last Thursday do all the hard work and this chap take the glory - or was he really that good!? 🤣

Thursday the guys installed the ONT, ran a rope half way down my driveway and re-did some copper connection.

Yesterday he got the cable from the road to the middle of the drive where the two previous guys couldn't then instead of leaving like his job sheet said he made a call then fed the fiber to the house, connected it, joined it and did everything else.

The guy was "old school" and did a great job.

I got to give the guy a fancy coffee but forgot the biscuits.
Saying that he forgot to give me a bbu so we're even.

I realised that my 4G connection does almost nothing but hurt my speeds as it saturates the connection. Total throughput to the internet from one machine was reaching 987mb but there was nothing left on the ethernet for overheads.

That's exactly how it should be, in my humble opinion. Helpful people and happy customers.
