If the fibre runs past your house why not ask for a quote for FTTP? Otherwise you might be looking at a very long wait for it.

20 mbps is ok . It is the upload speed that is the limiting factor.

Was Eclipse Home Option 1, VM 2Mb & O2 Standard
Utility Warehouse (up to 16mbps) via Talk Talk, upgraded to fibre 40/10

It would be a quote for FTTPoD rather than FTTP. Chances are it would be at least £8K install costs plus business level monthly rental for a minimum of 12 months.

We were initially told we'd have FTTP by April 2021, now they're saying January 2022, which isn't too far away in my books. I'll possibly check in with them regularly and if there's another delay I'll try the CEO's team then smile
