My question: Should the wiremen always run the cable up to the house (CSP)
A very poor installation, the box is too high so the cables are exposed and rather wonky, i.e. not level. If it was at my house I would have to do something about it.
Completely agree. I was at work when it was done my wife took the pic. Got home and it's rubbish. Other houses there is no wire showing. Believe they are back on the estate tomorrow so hopefully get them to sort it.
Our Community Fibre Partnership project with Opereach is about to go live and all the UG fed properties have had CSPs (or demarcation box as it now seems to be called) fitted as part of a new policy to build to the wall, thus avoiding delays and issues when customers order. The lead in is connected to the CBT and lit already in our case. OH Fed CSPs are still done at time of order under the policy.
I think it depends on your house. Does it already have ducting? Also it didn't happen at the same time. Cable was out in the road a long time ago.
Yes I have Ducting, it’s been roded and there’s a pull rope. The road was done today but they’ve got some cleaning up to do tomorrow so if they should install to the wall I’ll challenge them.

Spoke to engineer who was back on the estate today and he popped round and tidied it up. Said the fibre is ready and being tested today, should be able to order any day now.
