Re: Draytek speeds - second query

Hi candlerb,
Done the firmware upgrade.

Rates reported in the DSL Status page have not substantially changed.
There are some CRC, FECS, ES being reported in the Upstream, which were all previously at zero.

Thanks for the heads up smile

Cool. I don't have any specific knowledge of this router model. I only suggest that because in general it's a good idea, as sometimes problems have already been fixed.

I've decided that remote Telnetting is more productive than watching Das Boot, so here's the results of the telnet: https://ibb.co/Qv59cXV

This does mention vectoring support

What does jump out at me is VirtualNoise which has what looks like a high number.

Also I got some KBD tests run earlier on the connection. They all passed.
Report : https://ibb.co/gyHv2rm

Something else that stands out here is that these tests show full speed sync.

Crossed in the post ...

Ha. that sync speed has just changed in the router's status page.
It didn't say that half an hour ago (and I have the screenshot to prove it smile )

Good.
I'm assuming this is either a result of the F/W upgrade and/or some reboots of the router.

Very much appreciate your input and assistance with this,
cheers.

Only that the firmware supports it.

Very nice 80/20 there, with 6dB SNR. You should be happy with that.

Is the web interface still showing something different? If so, don't trust it.

The web interface is now showing 79992 downstream, Actual Rate.

Great, thanks to all
