Its highly likely John_32 knows that so whats the point in criticising it. Lets just be pleased that another person has a full fibre connection.

This has changed now. It's an ONT by default and either their Router or your own.

And CGNAT by default so if you want to self host anything, one needs to request a static IP now.

You could do with CGNAT if your CDN able to do tunnles.

Yes there are ways around CGNAT (TailScale, Cloudflare tunnels etc) but it really depends on what you're trying to achieve. They don't work for everything.
