However, there is currently no live service over this line as I got connected to Community Fibre FTTP. I ported the PSTN landline to A&A VoIP, and this ceased the FTTC broadband on this line.
When I got connected to Community Fibre, the Openreach website reported that my property was not currently in their build plans.
A few days ago I received an email from Openreach informing me that my property has been added to their build plans, and I confirmed that this is also the case on the Openreach website (this is saying build planned between now and December 2026 for my property).
If and when Openreach build in my area will they replace all copper lines including those that have no active service being delivered over them? Or will lines like mine be excluded?
Or would it be a case of placing an order with a provider after Openreach have finished the build in my area and Openreach then getting my property connected to FTTP?
