Use postcode SR79JS to pint point house it seems to be in the middle of the blue dots but not connected I don't know if it been missed out or it was forgotten about

Maybe just not ordered by existing residents?

The results from the BT Wholesale checker here, indicate that you can order a SOGfast service (basically its now G.fast without the underlying voice service on the copper) at your new address.

Virgin service is not available for that property / postcode according to the VM website.

OP does however have a healthy Openreach SOGfast broadband option available to order.

Looks like a small area of blue dots and I'm in it

So how do I go about GFast option would I buy a modem off eBay and call a provider or do it online

Could sky fttc get upset and than upgrade to GFast?

Yeah hopefully the OP can get something more substantive from Virgin other than 'computer says no'. There is Virgin RFOG network all around that address, however they are in different postcodes

From what I can see the OP is in his "own" single postcode - that is only a single UPRN is assigned to the postcode.

Ordering from Virgin may be as simple as getting their database correctly updated with the postcode and UPRN for the OP.

For SOGFast (G.fast) see some providers, as quote from post above:
In reply to a post by BLaZiNgSPEED:
You can get G.Fast via https://www.aa.net.uk/broadband/home1/gfast-prices/
https://www.cerberusnetworks.co.uk/connectivity?q=co...
https://www.unchainedisp.net/broadband.html
https://www.filesanctuary.net/broadband/sogfast

Some of these providers will provide a router for you to use. Best to discuss with them before buying anything of eBay etc.

I have emailed them explaing as best I can saying the property is surrounded by cables but I think as it's own postcode it has complicated things I will hopefully hear from them tomorrow or in a few days

Yeah I can get the GFast off eBay but hopefully a supplier will supply a router than I just handle around 150mobs

But virgin might say we can supply you as it could be a database error.

Thing is I have never seen a property with its own postcode before it's quite strange in my view

If there are Virgin Toby pots on the footpath on your side of the street, then odds on they will be able to serve you.

Your surest bet though is either FTTC or SOGfast from the Openreach network depending on what sort of speeds you need.

I'm in my own postcode in Suffolk, but it covers an area of around 50 odd acres. Amazon delivery drivers used to have issues as their maps would show the delivery point as the geographic centre-point of the postcode, which is a large field. Luckily they had enough working brain-cells to work out the house was the place where deliveries should be left 🤣

I'm not so lucky the postcode area I getting is just one little house I have no idea how it happen. Postcode is just a tiny square compared to other postcodes

Will this postcode has problems with the fibre rollout fttp I know it says on the website between now and Dec 2026 but I don't know weather they mis it out thinking it not worth it

The telegraph poles on the road links multiple homes up so it's on a pole with quite a few wires going out for openreqxh services
