I advise you to stay on G.fast 330/50 if it full wrack and most reliable ever!

Thats insane, it costs more and is less reliable than proper FTTP. You yourself just switched to FTTP from G.Fast which was, as you said multiple times, fast enough.

Why is it 'insane', the OP has stated they are in a house buying chain, the gamble is do you start a new contract and find yourself hit with an early termination charge if/when the house sells, or pay a bit more per month for an unknown length of time.

Sounds like a recipe for more hassle to me.

If it's not you moaning then it's probably me

Order FTTP with a one-month contract, FTW.

The cost is almost zero in the scheme of a house sale. But the comfort a buyer may get from seeing the FTTP connection already up and running could be the difference between the sale completing or falling through.

And meanwhile, you get to enjoy FTTP, even if only for a few weeks.

Light tested to what will be ‘our’ 8 port CBT about 5 minutes ago.

Let’s see how long before RFS shows

We have 1, 8 port CBT, yet the pole serves around 12-15 houses.

Not sure how that one works

The 8 port for here will serve 7 properties, then there’s 4 port to serve just two more on the ‘evens side’ .

Good God!

I find myself in complete agreement with Max.

Am I awake?
Is this some weird nightmare?

All the best with the move Zarjaz.
Are you moving out of Thamesway District or staying local?
(ps I am not a stalker ... probably.)
