Ordered today …. turns out FTTP is now available at the new place, and EE were happy to install here, and again there when required.

This pleased me, as I was worried I might have to go with Virgin … and I would rather the Devil I know, as it were.

Good luck with EE FTTP. Are you having top tier 1.8Gbps FTTP with EE? Please keep your G.fast 330/50 for at least another month just in case.

The g.fast will be ceased once the install is complete. The main driver for this install has been cost. I will be saving a lot by moving to FTTP.

I have had so many stand by me in the past, and ‘advise’ me. I feel sure a little love is bound to go back the other way. 🫪

To be fair, I seriously doubt I’ll notice any difference … 330/50 g.tast to 300/50 FTTP.

I know that feeling ... Happened to me a few times on equipment I have designed or managed the design/implmentation.

If you still have them, dig out your old training notes and at the end say "do they still distiobute the same guidelines".
