Livebox Security

For some reason my laptop won't pick up a livebox signal.

Is there anyway to turn off WEP encryption as my laptop thinks that its actually WPA.

You can set your laptop to use either WEP or WPA, using the same Livebox security key for both (WPA is more secure). The Livebox will automatically adjust itself to WEP or WPA to match your laptop. Make sure you enter the key with upper-case letters to match the Livebox's key.

I don't think you can turn security off, and I wouldn't even if I could.

Did you remember to press the "Pairing" button before trying to connect the laptop?

It seems that I have to press the pairing button each time I want to connect to the Livebox!
