Advice to Orange customers!

[link to this post]

I escaped from the clutches of Orange back in November and have NEVER looked back!!

Now with BT, getting a solid connection - never cut off once, streaming is always perfect. I can watch 4oD/BBC iPlayer and even YouTube without interruptions now!!

The best thing is even though i'm syncing at a lower speed (was 2mb with Orange, 1.5mb with BT), my actual throughout is a lot higher! I was lucky to get above 1mb with Orange!!

My advice - get out as soon as you can!

Can't agree with you!
Despite a major blip last Sept 2007 , can't fault the level of broadband service since that date, voip included.
Excellent value for money.
Well done Orange

I'm with Westy too. I have both my parents and myself on Orange and we have consistently good connections. Parents in Romsey always get above 5000Kbps and in London I get around 2100Kbps (badly affected by internal house wiring that I can't sort out as its a rented property).

I felt the same as you until I had a BT Line Fault..... After the line was repaired my broadband speed had dropped. but Tech Support wouldn't do anything (not because the didn't want to help, it was because they didn't understand!! there indian call centre are really bad) they just kept refering me to Customer Services to get new 18m contract with a faster connection. Beleive me it is a nightmaire!

but You are right when it works its great value for money!
