[link to this post]

Hello
Can anyone on orange please tell us if they can get to

http://www.ferrybridgefc.co.uk/

We are having reports of the site not available, but it only seems to be from orange customers

Thanks

No problem here either! Via 2 Meg Broadband Starter and Siemens wireless router.

DNS servers settings programmed in router = 193.36.79.101/100 (registered to orange.net) set up, I presume, by Orange before they sent it to me.

This conforms to Orange Help (KB193) which says ...
=======================================================================
DNS

Note: DNS settings should be set to 'automatically obtain' - there are only rare instances where Orange settings should be used. For information, the first set of Orange DNS settings are for IPStream customers, the second set for LLU.

Domain name service is dynamic.

If connecting to a router, and need DNS settings for home networking, use the IP address or your router, i.e.192.168.1.1

If Orange domain name server (DNS) addresses are required, you should use:
195.92.195.94 and 195.92.195.95

Or, if you experience problems with the above, use:
193.36.79.101 and 193.36.79.100
=======================================================================
which confirms I'm on LLU, which I was unsure of until now.

This also confirms that the samknows.com site is not up-to-date as it claims that Orange LLU is "not available" at my exchange.
