What is the Format for Livebox Login Names

I am trying to set up a friends Livebox for the first time (although he has had if for a while) and we do not know what name to use for the ADSL connection (lost paperwork). His email is in the style [email protected]. Can someone please tell me what the Livebox login name would be?

Edit: Orange are unbundled on his exchange (if that matters).

Before Wanadoo there was Freeserve. I still have the old freeserve email address, where the format is:

"[email protected]"

fs = Freeserve
