This function will help you to change your router settings. It's quick and easy to change the settings by choosing one of the options below :

Press this button if you want to move to Fibre / Ethernet - [Fibre / Ethernet]
Press this button if you want to move to ADSL - [ADSL]

Your router is currently set to the default Broadband Type: ADSL

Does this automatic update depend on the TR069 module function being enabled?

Is it possible to supply this new firmware as an ordinary download?

Almost certainly. TR069 is responsible for checking and updating firmware.

Oliver.

yes the firmware update is deployed via the TR069 remote management protocol and it sounds like its deployed over night and for the next few weeks

You sure of which one? Cuz the BrightBox has both a TR069 module function and a Remote Management function separate from each other.

Hi Mike,

I thought you would be interested as well as Fibre changes to the firmware, we have added

MTU to 1500 for PPPoA,
increased the number of devices that can be reserved IP adresses
offline mode for reserved IP addresses
