EE Broadband

I live in a market 1 exchange which has recently had FTTC introduced. Just after this I had EE on the phone offering me some deals as I have a mobile with them.

The conversation ended when I drove into a mobile reception blackspot in Yorkshire and I haven't heard from them again.

However, I was interested, but have a couple of questions about their service.

I work in publishing and video production and can have large files being uploaded and downloaded and wondered what traffic management EE use and how bad it can be?

I run a couple of servers from home (email and FTP) and wondered if anyone knew of any port blocking EE might do?.

How reliable is the service?

You can't use port 25 with EE.

You can use port 25 outgoing but only to the EE/Orange/Freeserve SMTP servers.

That's what I meant, obviously! In general Port 25 outgoing is blocked by EE.
