Am I missing something here?
EE is offering 500GB on a 2 year contract at a monthly price of £34 (subject to 2 increases of £3/month in Mar 25 and 26).
My present contract with A N other ISP is £45/month for 330GB. Their price for a similar package would be £55/month.
I am tempted.
I am guessing you mean 500Mbps and 330Mbps respectively. Note that Aquiss is £50/month for 500Mbps (it's £55 for 900Mbps)
Plusnet is currently doing 500Mbps for £34 per month too (cheaper than 300M at £36), also with price rises on Mar 31 every year.
If you're like me you'll barely notice the difference between 500M and 300M, so you have to weigh up the lower monthly price (£37 per month after the first price rise) against the longer contract, and whether there are any other features you care about like static IP.
