Damn, you beat me to it. I swear it wasn't there when I started my thread. x)

Now this is more like it. Looks much more like a Battlefield game.

YT link, if anyone wants it.

I'll wait on the beta me thinks.

Speeds look poor, looks to be a BC2:V fest, sounds good though.

Me too. Looks great but they don't show the the big lulls in the battle when you have to get back to the front line. Especially when you can't get a vehicle! And especially when running felt so cumbersome.

I am basing that on BFBC mind.

I hope the jets and helis are easy to take down from the ground.
At the moment the helis in BFBC2 are too hard to knock down especially if you get some level 50 geek flying one.

On PC that isn't the case. At least when I'm playing, I send enough rpgs at that heli to scare it off.

Its a lot quicker and faster than Battlefields mate which is kind of sluggish with movement and has a laggy Killzone feel to the previous Battlefield games i have played....................I'm hoping both sets of fans will be happy when they finally get released and match the videos.........

I agree mate. It is the 'heavy' movement I didn't like in Killzone 3 and BFBC.

Love it or hate it, the movement is one of COD's strongest points.

Movement in BF3 isn't as heavy and you aren't as "big" as BC2, i wasn't a fan of it there either tbh, same with crysis, making small movements were impossible.

Its fast and frantic and that suits my style of play mate, call it spray and pray or whatever as long as it fun and not ruined by over powered killstreaks and hackers i dont care less if it ends up been called MW 2.5 with a respray of paint.wink

Well, if you call that fast you should try Warsow on PC. Don't worry, it's free and runs on anything. laugh

Really, MW is very slow for deathmatch. It has to be to work with controllers. BF isn't strictly a deathmatch game so can get away with being slower. Seems silly that they've tried to shoehorn it in.

Quake was very fast i grant you but there was not a lot going on in that game was there........wink

The movement in MW is fast compared to most shooters and feels really smooth compared to previous Battlefield games and many others.

Plenty going on with Quake, its about knowing your weapons and knowing the map and staying in control, unlike run spray die respawn run spray die run spray call in some cheap overpowered kill streak reward die respawn etc

I can live with that. I will get BF3, but I know I will love the game, but in spite of the movement.

For longevity it will be survival mode for me aswell. grin

And I'm still looking forward to R3. I know you aren't a big fan but I think it is looking good. No one shot kills, no health regeneration and some really improved visuals. Add in the full campaign co-op and I'm a happy bunny. cool

I will be getting it mate as it does look good and i am a FPS fan,its released the same day as Dead Island so if that game lives up to my expectations [and not many games do] then Resisitance will have to take a back seat for a while.

Will catch you online with Resistance though if you like,i have changed many of my pre/orders from Playstation to Xbox as i do think they are supported a lot better online and Black Ops for me is proof in the pudding................

Saying that and this is rare.............There are many worried that as of now there has been now sign of any Battlefield footage on 360 and this is not normally the case as its always seen first on 360 with no sign of the Playstation version..wink.

Been a bad few months with nothing to buy and like i said in a previous post i am tempted to try Deus Ex Human Revolution next week so i can buy a game, would have been Body Count but the demo for me sucked.............BIGTIME

Talking about hypocrisy!!!

The comments are indicative of an extraordinary volte-face at Valve a studio that in the past had been unrelenting in its criticisms to coding on PS3.
Newell said it is absolutely important that games like Portal 2 and Dust 514 are a success on PS3.
We need to reward Sony for making this decision. We need to prove Sony is right.
