I played MP for a few hours last night. My profiles transferred over ok along with money, cars etc 
Getting used to the PS4 pad was the hardest bit. I don't like the incar driving view, much prefer the bonnet view as in PS3, hopefully they will change it as it really limits your vision. I've been using my beach buggy with the roof removed for the best vision
Servers seemed quite but I expect a lot of people were playing through the prologue bit which you have to do before you can get online.
I had a look for the new cars (big foot) but they don't seem to be around
Played a couple of hours of FC4 last night as well. Unlocked one tower and got badly mauled buy a few badgers  Even the bear was less trouble than the badger

You don't have to play it in FP mode,just hit the centre pad of the playstation 4 duel shock....
Swanny complaining yet again.....Does anything actually do it for you mate ....Game Wise.
Have you tried the Game....Farming Simulator .....I'm sure you like that with all those Tractors and combines.....You be in Gaming Heaven.
They are Badgers your right,but you missed the Honey at the start,and those are generally even in real life mighty aggressive and fearless  nothing a grenade or Rocket up the jaxy won't put right .
Nelly kept inviting me to help him out constantly,he couldn't work out the part where you press start at the Menu screen........Bo Selecta,Charmone mutha [censored] .....He Heeeeeeeeee  .
No seriously,he sent me game invite for co/op and it wouldn't connect,what a surprise,a year of endless online woes......I'm sure it was just a slight problem,more than likely Nelly dial up and 28 k Modem.....

I do like GTA otherwise I wouldn't have bought it I just don't really like the button layout on the ps4 controller, whoever came up with the idea of making buttons that you have to put a light on to find should be sacked. The start and select buttons on the old one are much easier to find and use. Same for my gold headset I can' seem to get that right :/

Yeah the headset takes a bit of getting used to,once you get it right don't touch the buttons
Download the headset app from the store....you can then put some other preloaded sounds in the headset on option 2 ....

You seen what you can do with the hookers in FPS mode (definitely an after dark game if you know what I mean)

I don't need a light on to find the buttons on the pad,however I do with the Gold Headset as I keep forgetting which side does which .
You have a Chat/ Sound on the front and a volume on the back which you use your thumb generally to alter the volume,problem is I'm always messing with the chat/sound button and turning the chat of.
For the money they a lovely bit of kit,but the button layout on them could have been thought out better.
I spent £250 Swanny on a set of Astro A50 for my Xbox One and they are not much better mate.

I meant to have a look last night to see it there was a GTA preloaded sound but forgot

It's called the Headset App or something,then in your menu on your playstation 4 ,when you open it you are then asked to choose which headset ,think there is the Pulse and the Gold.
Make sure the headset is on switch 2 ,plug headset in,pick the sound you want and hey presto.....You can moan about that then

Yea I know what it is, I've used it already. I think that bit is great it's just the fact that the headset is wireless rather than bluetooth and that the volume buttons are naff that I don't like

Seriously, look behind the map in the case and you should have a code on another bit of paper to redeem 1 million, 500,000 for sp and 500,000 foe online

Well I'd read that you get it for pre-ordering but just happened to be looking through the case and stumbled across the slip behind the map!!
You'd think they'd have a sticker on the case to say that it was included!

Going to be ages before i even play this as I'm knee deep in bullets flying from all angles and overwhelmed by the size of this Far Cry 4 map.
So much to do and see ,where does one start
My new High is searching out a Gyrocopter and scouting around the island so i get a nice birds eye view,then i drop in on unexpected enemies and places of interest.
Absolutely loving this game to bits..

Only you seem to be seeing this my mate,hardly any mention of frame rate drops by other users or gaming website reviews.
Sure that playstation 4 you bought is functioning correctly,because if you cast your mind back to last November Timeys original Playstation 4 lasted less than a week because of problems.
Had a lot of flashing and occasional stutter while playing games��..

Nah not by any means mate but still slightly annoying when I just happen to notice it lol
Trouble is now I know it's there I tend to look for it more!!
Just watched a video of the PS4 version showing the frame rates with hardly any drops but the difference being there was no traffic on the bits I'd skipped to. Whereas the drops I'm seeing when playing are in particularly densely populated areas so kinda expected to an extent!

Surprisingly they've managed parity between the two consoles as far as resolution and frame rate goes!! (If not slightly more stable frame rate on the bone apparently!)

I don't know Swanny you have Assassins Creed,GTA5,The last of Us,Far Cry 4�..What to play now is mind boggling isn't it.
I have Far Cry 4,GTA5 and Dragon AGE inquisition just turned up,both them can stay in the wrapper and i might open one of them Christmas Day.
Im to busy knee deep in bullets with Far Cry 4 to bother with anything else.
I just drove a hovercraft on land�..

GTA V Performance analysis
Interesting article pointing out the advantages/disadvantages between both consoles running the game!!
It's saying the PS4 is only dropping down to the mid 20's but it's definitely noticeable during high speed driving

It's quite funny when you think about considering the power advantage the playstation 4 has over the xbox one.......
Hope we are not drifting back to the 360v playstation 3 debate all over again,remember the 360 always looked better and played better with less issues if any compared to the playstation 3.

However, while Xbox One enjoys an advantage during high-speed races in packed junction areas, it's clear the platform faces its own particular challenges. It drops a few frames during downtown driving outside of the problem junction areas, whereas PS4 remains solid. On top of that, we've already seen that Rockstar has made some visual cutbacks to its complex outdoor rendering, presumably to accommodate Xbox One's less capable graphics hardware, but in certain areas where cuts haven't been made, performance can dip.
Complex effects work, usually involving transparency effects (explosions etc) can also cause visible, sustained hitches in performance. Explosive missions with Trevor in Los Santos' outskirts show the biggest pitfall on Xbox One - with 24fps held at length during one shoot-out. Meanwhile, the PS4 has no issue with these segments, sparing one or two dropped frames just as alpha effects appear on-screen.

Yeah, they did say the generational leap wouldn't be a s obvious as last time around. GTAV was a great game visually anyway, so it's just the resolution that should have improved. I said at the time that was my only gripe about the game and the quality of the draw distance. If they've both improved, with first person mode added I will be very happy when I pick it up.
Are you playing it in FP mode mate? What's the resolution like at distance? All the videos I've seen are markedly better, but they've all been on a small phone screen.
FC4 on the other hand is miles better looking than FC3, but then it didn't have too much to look up to. FC3 was proper choppy in comparison on console.

Some times I play in FP but when there's a lot of gun fighting going on I find it easier in 3rd person as it seem to acquire the targets better. Resolution is much better and so is draw distance, especially noticeable when driving

I actually tried to at co op with a mate who doesn't have the game last night.
Interestingly (to me at least) it is t shareplay based. I sent him a Key to Kyrat and it made him download a demo form of the game from the PS store. So whoever uses a key will get the full visual performance, not the streamed version. Only trouble was, I handed him the controller in shareplay for a couple of hours and that slowed his download so much that it didn't finish in time last night!
That said, he had little to no interest in picking up FC4 when I offered him the controller. One hour of elephant debauchery and now he's hooked!
