Like it or not the kids have taken over the COD games, and the developers know this and intentionally cater for them.
I have no intention of buying another cod game as the BF series has almost everything I look for in a FPS.
Small cod like maps suit players that don't mind dying and respawning 100+ times a game. No skill required just plenty of luck.
I remember the days when you tried your hardest to stay alive.
When I'm playing BFBC2 my aim is to keep my K/D ratio as high as possible.
Currently at 1.04 after 154 hours of play. Not as high as I would like but I'm working on it
My GF's son cheats because he has no interest in playing the game properly, combine him with a games developer that couldn't give a monkeys about the game once they've sold it and you have a recipe for disaster.
The whole cod experience is designed around a quick fix, one that doesn't require skill.
