What I would love to see in a racing sim is realism, engines hard to start, breakdown, damage etc.
All of which are already in Project Cars if you care to switch them on.

I have manual engine start turned off, but full performance degrading damage, failures, tyre wear and fuel depletion are all set to on. As I mentioned in an earlier post, breaking a shock absorber or drive shaft will see you limping to the pits. Force feedback simulates all these events incredibly realistically.

Driving back to the pits with a broken drive shaft on one side of the car, is a real arm workout in a BMW Z4 GT3, believe me. There are far too many Forza and Gran Turismo loyalists blabbing on forums about how bad this game handles without even playing it. Half of them probably aren't old enough to hold a driving license let alone lecture others on car handling.

If you like those things you should check it out.

Another Sucker smile Game will be forgotten about by all those loyalists singing its praises within 2 weeks, just like Drive Club that nobody plays or cares about.

When you get £6 trade in value for a game thats been out about 6 months then that says it all.

I didn't mean you, you consistently hate driving games! There are lots of people on gaming forums saying "The physics look awful, I'll wait for FM6" or "GT7." The physics are fine. As good as rFactor2 in my opinion, only much better looking.

Not liking a game is completely different from bashing a game.

Its perfectly fine mate even if you did mean me wink, don't know why i just don't seem to enjoy or like them regardless of how good looking and realistic they are.

Funny thing is i used to adore Sega Rally on the Dreamcast, but that was very arcade like and a lot easier to drive, and that was 15 years ago and i was only 18 crazy

This video is what it's like as you get used to the faster cars. You don't see "floaty" when you're immersed like this.

Damn, wish I could afford my SteamBox triple screen set up...

SEGA Rally was the sole reason I bought a Saturn. Ended up with a PS1 a year later though! smile

I'm surprised how well the PS4 compares to a PC

The Modding community side of things is always going to be better with a PC
