Could Virgin actually do this?

[link to this post]

I sent my MAC code to Aquiss on the 22nd and was due to switch over on the 31st. Anyway on Friday the 27th I woke up and couldn't connect to Virgin nor Aquiss which left me with out internet for 4 days. Could they do this? Can a ISP cut you off before the due swap over date?

Thanks for the help.

An ISP can at anytime stop your username and password from working.

Was the ADSL signal still present, BUT the login not working?

Presume you are up and running now?

My router synced but it couldn't actually connect to the internet.

I am up and running with Aquiss now. It is shocking that they could cut me off with no warning.
