Any problems with the BBC web site?

It just isn't loading, in IE7 or FF. Home page and a bookmarked page within it. First try was about 9:20 this morning but still not working at 11:10

Loading fine here, home page, news and sport- Opera/Mac, IDNet.

Does not load here either on O2 LLU but does on Orange dongle

I shall cross-post in O2 forum then. Usually only get problems with new IP address ranges, but I've had this one for months.

I had a ten minute outage last night but as I'm at work I can't add anything more up to date.

Cool. Tbh I've noticed of late that browsing seems a little sluggish. Nothing major but just not what it used to be.

This weekend I'm converting my old games machine to a new server and putting Win2k8 on it. My intention is to make it the DNS server for my network. It'll be interesting to see if that improves browsing performance.

DNS servers have been a bit dodgy of late

There has been a DDoS attack on a managed DNS provider in the States

I personally havent noticed a speed issue with the bbc website but it may be due to their forever increasing traffic.
