Newnet left me confused

[link to this post]

Another newnet member still in shock about the price increase.

Going to leave and request my MAC code but wanted to know the process?

Does anyone know if Newnet will accept request for MAC code as the 30 day notice? Even if still in first 30 days of service?

What happens with the monthly billing? I signed up on 4th December and was going to request MAC code asap but got horrible feeling it will take me past the 4th Jan and therefore they will charge me another month? Is there any way around this?

Has anyone requested a MAC from Newnet? and if so how long did it take/has it been.

Thanks

James

you would have to serve out their minimum contract (30 days or whatever) then request mac.. i doubt they would give it to you before then. Also check their terms and conditions, you might have to give a further months notice. You could probably swing that one as your obviously unhappy.

You can request a MAC code at anytime and just give them 30 days notice at the same time. I doubt they can hold you to any contract having just changed it without notice.

Best bet is to look through the newnet forum below, or even contact Newnet and ask them..... At least asking Newnet will get the correct answer.
