LINKSYS AM200 HIGH PING CURE PLEASE

Posted by DAGO I used to have thomson 330 USB modem which suffered disconnections because of congestion issues my ISP is Virgin ADSL yes I know a load of cr*p I used to dissconnect and reconnect the Modem to get a good speed and low ping,s virgin have several servers dotted about the country some a lot better than others although these are still bad and sometimes I connected to a "good" one.But now I have the Linksys AM200 ETHERNET ADSL MODEM it,s an always on connection I am currently connected to the brentford server in essex and it is one of the bad one,s I have tried dissconnecting the adsl phone lead and reconnecting hopeing the modem would seek out a better server but it does not work I ,m probably not doing things right can any one help me with a solution to my problem but please bear in mind I am no expert at all thanx
