I've tried unplugging all sources of electrical interference in my house from microwaves to cordless phones.
A good few years ago we were having terrible problems with the original ADSL product not holding a connection for more than a few minutes. Infact it was predictable and would die at exactly 5 mins everytime. (This was back on the old USB voyager modems that needed a dial up networking connection on the desktop)
Had a myriad of BT engineers looking for a cause including the Special Faults guys. Turned out to be a TFT monitor chucking out a bag load of interference from it's power brick. They were able to read the interference from
outside at the electricity junction box for the street when it was switched on. When that monitor was completely disconnected everything went fine.
Just helps to absolutely eliminate anything electrical from the equation.
