A 3Mbps connection speed looks just about achieveable.

A major factor in lowering it is that noise margin of 9.6dB. What figures do you get immediately after a reconnect, like if you do one now?

Can you also see the ADSL type? Like any of ADSL, ADSL2, ADSL2+, G.992.DMT, G.992.1, G.992.3, G.992.5?

The power figures up and down would be useful as well.

My domains, website and mail hosting - Tsohost. Internet connection - O2 Standard.

Agree with RobertoS 3Mb should be achievable, dont forget that Sky will probably have started their DLM on your line and this can take up to 10 days to finish.
You should notice the noise margin dropping and your connection speed increasing, this usually happens in the early hours (2-3 am)

I reckon boysteve knows more about Sky LLU, and that's what it looks like. have you tried doing a reconenction though? That noise margin has gone even higher and you should see better if you do one.

But don't do more than one! Otherwise the system might think the line is unstable.

is that in the master test socket ? the upstream looks poor.

MaxDSL - goes as fast as it can and doesn't read the line checker first.

I'm a sky customer too, my connection tends to become unstable if the downstream margin goes below 7db, if it drops below 6db then it will just start cutting out all over the shop.

luckily I've managed to get them to set me to a slightly higher profile so my average is around 8-9 db down.

these are my current stats.

ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 4096 kbps 800 kbps
Line Attenuation 48.0 db 31.5 db
Noise Margin 6.3 db 11.0 db

currently at 6.3db at 5pm, the england football match just ended so I guess the connection will recover later.

My Stats
Day 1:
ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 4095 kbps 510 kbps
Line Attenuation 21.0 db 9.5 db
Noise Margin 16.6 db 24.0 db

Day 3: Stayed on this til 10th day was up called Sky to get line manually configured

ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 13307 kbps 916 kbps
Line Attenuation 21.0 db 9.3 db
Noise Margin 14.9 db 8.0 db

Current:

ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 19506 kbps 997 kbps
Line Attenuation 21.0 db 9.5 db
Noise Margin 7.2 db 8.0 db

Similar now as when I was with Vivaciti (very good service),one thing I have noticed is my IP appears to be static or at least "sticky" as opposed to dynamic, as even a 24 hour disconnect still gave me the same IP

I moved from SKY to O2 in January and my speeds immediately increased by 20% on this poor (aluminium) line
